Registration for 2023 Intramural UDJAA Spring Baseball and Quickball is open from now through February 18, 2023. We cannot guarantee a spot in our leagues once regular registration has closed. 

UDJAA Baseball offers intramural programs for children ages 4-15. The Spring program, which begins the first week of April, includes the following leagues:

Quickball: This immensely popular league is for Pre-K (year before Kindergarten only) and Kindergarten boys and girls. In Quickball, players learn the basics of baseball in a fun, active and encouraging environment. Quickball teaches and strengthens baseball skills by offering multiple hitting, fielding and throwing chances for all players during each game. Players must be at least 5 years old by September 1 2023. The Quickball games are normally held on Saturday mornings at the Field of Dreams fields at 9 AM or 10:45 AM. There may be an occasional weeknight game especially if there are rain make ups. We try to honor, but cannot guarantee, teammate and coach requests. Click here for more info.

AAA: Our league for 1^st/2^nd grade boys transitions the players from Quickball into baseball. Emphasis is placed on learning the rules of the game along with continuing developing basic baseball skills.  All games and practices are one weekday a week and Saturdays.  We try to honor, but cannot guarantee, teammate and coach requests.

Rookies: The 3^rd/4^th grade league is all kid-pitch. Players will refine their skills on a 60-foot field (typically Franklin Park and Loch Alsh Field) and play more structured, competitive games with minor rule adjustments.  At this age, we are no longer able to accommodate player/coach requests as the teams are selected via draft. Practices and games are held Monday or Wednesday; and Saturday.

Majors: The 5^th/6^th grade league moves up to a 70-foot field (Mondauk and Three Tuns) as players improve their level of game strategy. Both Majors and Rookies will play with teams that include travel players in a more relaxed but still competitive environment. Again, we can no longer accommodate player/coach requests. Practices and games are held Monday or Wednesday; and Saturday.

Juniors: The oldest Intramural division is for kids in 7th/8th/9th grade (15U). Teams play in a “light travel” league against neighboring townships. For this older division, teams and league placement will be dependent on the number of registrants.

Beginning with the AAA league, teams will play two games per week: one weeknight and one on Saturday. These schedules may vary depending on the number of teams. We are also dependent on weather and schedules may change according to rain and poor weather conditions.
